I will use as few CSS hacks as possible to achieve cross-browser compatibility because hacks that work in browsers today won't work tomorrow - you will never know in advance. If corrections for Internet Explorer are necessary conditional comments will be used instead of hacks directly inside the CSS file. Note that CSS hacks nevertheless will in few cases be necessary to display a webpage correctly in Internet Explorer for Macintosh.
Your XHTML pages or CMS templates will look the same in the following browsers:
Internet Explorer 6.0 and 7.0 on the Windows platform
Firefox (Windows, Macintosh and Linux)
Netscape (Windows)
Safari (Macintosh)
Opera (Windows, Macintosh and Linux)
Konquerer (Linux)Cross-browser compatibility will be proved by sending you screenshots that show the look of your pages in different browsers.
